How the Ghost effect works
A ghostly voice is mostly about distance and instability. The preset raises pitch two semitones, adds 70% chorus and a 3 Hz tremolo at 40% depth, removes 6 dB of low end and sends the voice into a five-second reverb at 55% mix.
Tips for a better ghost voice
- Whisper or speak softly; the reverb makes quiet words carry.
- Lower Reverb mix if words become hard to understand on a call.
- Great with the Cathedral or Cave presets for a haunted house.
