Overview

VoiceMix is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle data when you use our voice transformation service.

Data We Collect

Audio Processing: All voice transformation happens entirely in your browser. We do NOT record, store, or transmit your voice data to our servers.

Local Storage: Effect presets, soundboard sounds, and recordings are stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB and localStorage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share it.

Analytics: We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This collects anonymized usage data but no personal information.

AI Voice Cloning (Premium Feature)

When you use the AI voice cloning feature, voice samples are sent to OpenAI via Vercel AI Gateway for processing. This is an opt-in feature that requires explicit user action. Voice samples are:

• Only sent when you explicitly upload audio for voice cloning
• Processed by OpenAI (via Vercel AI Gateway) according to their privacy policy
• Not used for any purpose other than creating your custom voice preset
• Stored locally in your browser by default (server storage is optional)

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Ahrefs Web Analytics: Anonymized website analytics
• Vercel AI Gateway (OpenAI): AI voice cloning (opt-in premium feature only)
• Vercel: Website hosting and deployment

Your Rights

Since all your data is stored locally in your browser, you have complete control:

• Clear browser data to delete all stored presets and recordings
• Export your custom effects and soundboard configurations
• Use the service without creating an account
