Voice Changer for Roblox
Roblox voice chat listens to your computer's microphone, so the trick is to make VoiceFX that microphone: send it into a free virtual cable and set the cable as your default recording device. Roblox then hears the changed voice.

Set up Roblox in three steps
- Install a free virtual cable: VB-CABLE from vb-audio.com on Windows (restart after setup), or BlackHole 2ch on macOS.
- Send VoiceFX into it: press Start above, pick a voice, then in the rack's Devices panel set "Send to" to "CABLE Input" (Chrome or Edge).
- Make the cable your mic: Roblox normally follows your system's default microphone. On Windows: Settings → System → Sound → Input → choose "CABLE Output". On Mac: System Settings → Sound → Input → "BlackHole 2ch". If your Roblox client shows an input device option in its Settings menu, pick the cable there instead. Rejoin the experience after switching.

Good to know
- Roblox voice chat is only available to age-verified accounts that have turned voice on in Settings → Privacy. A voice changer does not get around that.
- Keep "Hear myself" off while you play so you only hear the game.
- Roblox voice is compressed, so mid-heavy voices such as Robot, Kid Voice and Walkie-Talkie come through most clearly.

Can you use a voice changer on Roblox?
Yes, on PC or Mac. Route a voice changer into a virtual audio cable and make the cable your default microphone; Roblox voice chat then carries the changed voice.
Why does Roblox still hear my normal voice?
Roblox is still using your real mic. Make the cable the default recording device (or choose it in Roblox's own settings if shown), then leave and rejoin the experience.
Is using a voice changer in Roblox allowed?
A voice changer is just another microphone as far as the game is concerned. What counts is behaviour: harassment, hate speech and impersonating staff or other players break Roblox's rules whatever tool you use. Keep it to jokes, characters and privacy.
Will teammates hear a delay?
The effect adds tens of milliseconds, less than normal voice-chat network delay. Avoid Bluetooth headsets, which add far more.
Does it work on console or phone versions of Roblox?
No. Consoles and phones do not let browser audio be routed into a game's microphone. You need a Windows PC or a Mac.
